By creating an account or using Pulse ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pulse is a website change monitoring service. It allows you to track changes on public web pages, receive notifications when content changes, and view historical snapshots and diffs.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Monitor pages in a way that violates the target website's terms of service or robots.txt
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data for spamming, phishing, or illegal purposes
• Overload or interfere with the operation of the Service or target websites
• Monitor pages containing illegal content
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Plans and Billing

Free Plan

The free plan includes limited monitors with hourly checks. No credit card is required.

Paid Plans

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. When you cancel, your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of a charge. Contact us at [email protected] for refund requests.

6. Data and Content

You retain ownership of your monitor configurations and settings. Snapshots of third-party web pages are stored temporarily for the purpose of change detection and are subject to the monitored website's own terms.

We do not claim ownership over the content of the pages you monitor. Snapshot data is stored solely to provide the diff and notification features of the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed notifications, delayed checks, or temporary outages.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
